Containers provide greater protection than pallets and facilitate the handling of goods decreasing costs in the packaging and secure them. There are different models for different types of goods to be transported globally being standardized in two classic measures: A. 20 feet and 40 feet B.; and a third alternative that varies in height, corresponds to containers called "HIGH CUBE".
Standard
a normal dry cargo is used as bags, pallets and boxes. Types "high cube" (included in this category) are used for bulky loads such as snuff and coal.
Open top
They are used for bulk cargo in small quantities or equipment that can not fit into the container doors. They have no roof and are loaded and unloaded at the top. (Examples of transported goods: heavy machinery, marble slabs, etc).
Reefer
They have self-contained cold. Meat, fish and fruit.
flatrack
They have fixed or removable without side terminals. They are designed to transport large cargo such as machinery.
Tank
They are used to transport liquid; there are multiple applications and designs. (Some are coated for transport of corrosive chemicals, or to load oils).
Bulk carrier
They have taken upper and download precipitation. It allows the transport of grain.
Platform
For transportation of machinery or large loads or extra weight, for example, rolling machinery.

Granelero
Poseen toma superior y descarga por precipitación. Permite el transporte de granos.
